Saturday I attended my most favoritest wedding ever! It was really good to see two good people team up. It was neat how the wedding reflected who they are. They didn’t let the status quo define their day. The wedding reflected their love of God, their love for their friends, their value of simplicity, and so much more. It was a 12 hour time with friends.
During the ceremony, the minister made the comment that marriage is not narcissism expanded to two people. I liked that point. I liked the way Josh and Kate reflected their community values in the layout of their day.
I also really liked when in the ceremony, after lighting the unity candle, they knelt and prayed together for a while. Focusing the whole service on God.
Unrelated: I also saw End of the Spear this weekend. Verdict: worth watching.
