    I’m here. I got in at 7:10. I started teaching at 8:30. I’m looking forward to the end of the day. I don’t think I’m going to set any records for productivity today.

    The irony of my situation is just a little too thick. My new flight from Beijing to Bangkok has been delayed over an hour. If this delay had happened yesterday, I could have made the flight despite my late arrival in Beijing. I could have made it to Ubon as planned.

    First, a word to Air China. I would recommend that you show more sympathy to passengers that are going to have to wait an additional 23 hours in Beijing due to the late arrival of your plane. While customers are in a state of shock or panic, rather than sending them on a wild goose…
