Used Books
So I stumbled upon a cluster of used book stores today, all selling English books. I started with the store that looked most promising. When I finished with that store and went to checkout, I found I had already exceeded the wallet’s supply. Used paper backs in English are not as cheap in Thailand as they are in the States.
Nevertheless, hooray for books!

Micah, it is unfair to tell about buying books and not to mention any titles.
I picked up Animal farm, because until last night I had never read it. I picked up some book with long-distance runner in the title (it was cheap). I got Rebecca of Sunnybrook farm, because I liked watching the Shirley Temple movie by that title at my Grandma’s house. The book I put back because I didn’t have funds for it was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
