So I’m here, doing some training. After training today I went for a run. The roads are sufficiently curvy that I lost my bearing on the map. I knew I’d made several left hand turns and so thought I was making a circle. I eventually had to stop and ask some one if I was headed toward Union Mills. I wasn’t. I wasn’t making a circle. The run ended up being about 6 miles longer than I had anticipated.

If you are in the Mountains of North Carolina, plan on meeting several dogs.
