So, not surprisingly my young, non-smoking, fit self tested out OK. The EKG and the chest xrays looked normal. The weird, unexplained part were the chest pains while running that preceded the tests.
It did provide an opportunity to sit and talk with my Dad for 2 and a half hours.
Tape removal hurts worse than IV insertion.
Yesterday I ran into the Air Force XC team right at the start of my run. I was able to run 3.5 miles with them before needing to turn back. It was good to run in a pack.
Last night those of us here at MTI without kids watched the kids so the parents could watch a required movie. We had a blast. The kids were remarkably well behaved.
After the kid time I got to just sit around and talk about stuff all over the board: why I don’t vote, what I think about immigration, valuing my Americanness while recognizing its short comings, silly stories, whatever. Good times.
