Still asleep, someone is gently shaking me. “It is time to get up.” I’m not sure I’m ready to leave my warm blanket behind. “It is time to get up.” My ability to simultaneously exhibit a lack of consciousness and deep stubborn refusal is remarkable. “It is time to get up.”
