Today after work (which by the way was great because I did real stuff not just training) I stopped by Don Carlos Restaurante & Tienda. While waiting for my order I talked with the man at the counter. I was pretty pleased with myself because it was not until I’d been speaking in Spanish for several sentances that he conciously realized I was doing so. I’m a fan of really good food for $1.50.

Roxbury was good. Most of what I’m going to write about it is already written places where only I can read it. I do recommend it to anyone looking for something to do August 2007.

Work went well. I’m in a building with six guys and a girl. Everybody seems pretty cool. I have a lot of space to myself. I’m right next to Mike (fiance of Messiah College friend).

At lunch I ate a pickled garlic clove! (And it was good!!)

My eight hours were put in plugging away through a Pro/Engineering (3D modeling program) tutorial. I think this is going to be alright.

I’m off to Roxbury (which means the next time I write here will be either the evening of the 13th or after my first day of “real” work). It is going to be weird not to be youth at Roxbury this summer. My first summer after college I worked with the Junior Highers through my internship. The last two I worked with the senior high as a part of New Light. Now I’m just old.

In RISK you either destroy or are utterly destroyed. Last night I was destroyed. Stupid Australia!
