The Fickett Family concert is at 4:30 (Sept 3 in the Grantham Church)

Work has taken a significant step up in its enjoyment level. Now I am not only dimensioning parts for other guys. I’m designing my own parts!

Grantham Church (BIC) has given the Fickett Family the go ahead for a concert in their sanctuary this Sunday at 4:30 (you should come).

Another good and productive day. Not wasted time lounging. (Note: time in quiet intentionally doing “nothing” is something other than wasted lounging time). However, people are leaving for school (or are already there). My brothers are packing. Several friends are Cross Country camp weeking. I want to go be with friends at Messiah

Nothing like time for keeping on ticking.

Yesterday I made up a list of the things I wanted to get done after work today. I did them all! It felt good not just to lounge away an entire afternoon and evening after work. I ran 4 miles. I practiced my cello. I made significant progress on some sound stuff I’m working on. Sweet yes!

My brother Judah has gone out for football despite the fact that no one in our family even watches the sport. Saturday I got to watch his first scrimmage. It was pretty sweet! He crushed the other team’s quarterback.

After the game Candice and I split some breaded and fried broccoli pieces. They and Rouzerfest were pretty amazing. The train was running at Red Run and we rode it!
